SMART maker Festival

SMART Maker Festival is a family-friendly showcase of creativity, invention, and resourcefulness, and a celebration of the great minds contributing in the fields of innovation and Technologies. It’s a place where people show what they are making, and share what they are learning. It is a gathering of tech enthusiasts, fascinating, curious people who enjoy learning and who love sharing what they can do. From engineers to artists to scientists to crafters, SMART Maker Festival is a venue for these “makers” to show hobbies, experiments, projects.

In the year 2020, SMART MAKER FESTIVAL organized by SMART SOCIETY USA and IEM-UEM in collaboration with IEM Innovation Lab, IEM Labs, Brick View Studios, ISHRAE, IQApex Labs assembled all the innovators, tech enthusiasts and artists to cast forth their talents but staying in their comfort zones. A global pandemic could not stop us from bringing the future to the present. We witnessed participation from countries like USA, Nepal, UK, Germany, Bangladesh, Canada etc; received projects from Indian universities like IITs, NITs, CU, JU. Almost 150 makers across the globe submitted their innovations to us. Among them 50 projects were selected. Project: Zeus 2.0 developed by Luis Guzman was placed in the first position. ‘Yantrika’ 0.1 beta version, the first humanoid AI robot developed by Nepal Academy of Science and Technology (NAST) held the second position. The third position was shared by Ankit Pitroda for Immersive Technologies and Souhridya Bhattacharya for 4-in-1 smart mask of India,

Inventors and Innovators will showcase their project from the comfort of their home, their workplace, or wherever you want, without having to physically go anywahere. If you don’t have a comfortable space to connect from, you can find other makers like you who have a space available in which to group your projects. Consult the website: we will publish the list of spaces that will be made available gradually and you can evaluate if there is one near you. We will help you with the platform to showcase your talent.
